Tonight on RAW we began the show with Retribution announcing that their five members had been signed to RAW. The members were dressed in attire that made it look like they just came off the set of The Dark Knight Rises complete with Bane masks ( I guess Vince loved the movie.) They stated that they were the judge, jury and executioner of the company now and that there would be a reckoning. They also blamed the fans for helping ruin WWE. This didn’t sit well with The Hurt Business who made their presence known. However, it wasn’t long before the ring surrounded with more Retribution members who beat down MVP’s stable. A six man tag match was then made for later that night between Retribution and The Hurt Business. In that match we saw the debut of T-Bar, Slapjack and Mace. Eventually the match ended in a DQ giving The Hurt Business the win. As the ring once again filled with Retribution members the RAW locker room led by WWE Champion Drew McIntyre came out to fight them off.
It was certainly an eventful official first night for the chaotic new group. As we previously reported at TRR the most recent WWE plans backstage called for five members for the final reveal. We also noted that Domink Dijakovic, Dio Maddin, Shane Thorne, Mia Yim and Mercedes Martinez were set to be those members. That’s exactly what happened tonight. Dijakovic who is now known as T-Bar appears to be the leader. Dio Maddin is now going by Mace while Shane Thorne is Slapjack. As for Mia Yim and Mercedes Martinez their names were not revealed tonight as they were not in action. It should be interesting to see what WWE comes up for Retribution next week. So far the group has received mixed reviews from fans. As we’ve said in the past this whole idea is Vince McMahon’s and things are being decided on the fly. You know never know what could change down the line, but for now this is were we are. Hopefully it pays off the way WWE expects it to.
